Review: Jukujo Shigan -KINBAKU-

Any title under the Lilith umbrella is something I am interested in so when Kinbaku was announced from ZIZ I was intrigued, it’s an original production and looks quite different from what we’d usually get from ZIZ. I bought it in haste but never got around to watching it but now I have so where does this stand in the ZIZ hierarchy?

Masaru is a student self studying at home, he is also very sexually frustrated. One day he catches a beautiful woman next door, he can see her panties, her nipples and becomes very aroused. She introduces herself as Shizue to them but he cannot get her out of his mind. One night he sees her light on, goes to check but is there more to this mature woman than meets the eye?

The story here is very basic, run of the mill even. That’s not to say it’s bad just overdone. Your mileage will vary on how many you’ve seen and your affection for the kinks. I personally love bondage so for me it was easier to watch.

There is no rape here, no questionable content either which makes a change for a ZIZ work, as such unless you are not into bondage at all (and light bondage at that) then you could likely watch this quite easily.

There are two major scenes here and both differ greatly from each other. The first is the opening fellatio scene between two unnamed as of yet people, who would become our eyes and the mature woman. I felt this was a good opener, especially how it ended and what the reality was. It leads you astray in thinking what it might be about and then the title screen hits. I feel like I underrate oral scenes because of how common they are but the length and focus here was lovely. The guy licking out the woman isn’t as common either.

The main meat here as you might expect is the bondage scene from the initial tie up of Shizue to the stroking of her pussy right into the use of a dildo that act as foreplay until the more forceful acts. It is meticulous in each part, in each gradual progression from teasing to tougher punishments, stretching her legs out to expose her pussy before taking her. All the while Masaru is outside watching in awe. Seeing the sweat drop down her body, cum dripping from her pussy to the redness of her face deepening, she is feeling the pleasure across her body.

The bondage itself is fairly basic, just tying hands and arms behind the back, no rope digging into her pussy but still there to keep her bound and helpless to the pleasures forced upon her. It’s light, very light but it comes across in more of a sensual way when most bondage featuring anime have it in more hardcore terms so I like this approach.

I have to address the main issue here: this is a by the numbers cliché work. There is nothing new here, the plays are about as standard as you’ll get, the characters equally so and the scenes themselves while enjoyable are generic. It stands out to me because of the visuals which I will get to but these are a dime a dozen and that is going to be an issue. I can find more enjoyment here than an equally plain vanilla show but that problem persists.

Visually is where the star of the show is. In terms of the animation it is about what you’d expect, it’s good, flows well and the movement is smooth and the use of recycled frames is fairly limited. What makes this even better though is the art. The angles used here accentuate the scenario such as Shizue pegging out the washing showing the most desired aspect from Masarus point of view. This is even more important when it comes to the bondage itself. With my love for it I was appreciative of how it displayed Shizues helplessness, how it showed her shame, her humiliation but also her pleasure from low angled shots, long shots gradually showing her predicament to close ups showing her breathing as the intensity increases. It’s exactly what I want from a bondage scene.

Artistically the first thing that strikes me is the lighting, there appears to be an almost glistening effect on Shizues body. The light around all the curves creates an effect as though she is in moonlight or with candles in the dark. It is beautiful to look at and stands out among its cohorts. Adding to this the detail given to Shizues body is extravagant. From the opening scenes you can see the sweat drip down from her body and even the detail on her nipples and areolas. It’s beautiful. Speaking of Shizue she is fully figured with ample breasts, long legs and a mature looking face. It’s about as you’d expect for a mature woman and maintains sexiness.

I can recommend this as perfect entry material for those wishing to enter the harder side of ero as its light enough to not be off putting. For everyone else it’s a case of whether your mileage can stretch for something like this. It does not light up the world but it doesn’t need to. When most ero anime focusing on bondage go for harder hitting approaches this feels fresher. At 22 minutes it’s worth a watch in my opinion, just don’t go in expecting the world and you won’t be disappointed.
